RE: vinyl tubing?

Thats all I have. A clear tube that goes into the antifreeze bottle and attaches to the T valve by the water pump. It's always there I just tuck it back into the compartment.

RE: Is 7400lbs for a 4.7 realistic?

I towed with a Yukon 5.7L and a 7500# TT. My friend has a 150 4.7L and about the same camper. On short trips there isn't much problem but he really noticed it on a long haul. So yes you can but you'd probably be better off looking for 5.7 or 5.9.

RE: One last winterizing question

I'd close it. In spring when you hook up up and your feet get wet you'll be wondering what the heck is wrong now.

RE: Electric Awning & Lights

We have an electric awning and have since switched to the rope lights. I carry a ladder but it isn't worth the trouble to just hang lights. Also if it isn't raining this time of year the awning stays up.

RE: Leveling travel trailer side to side

I have 2 boards and 2 sets of Lynx levellers. I also had an aluminum Jack stand for the front that I used all the time.

RE: No more deciding, we went seasonal...for now.

We just came off a seasonal site and it had it's advantages but we decided we want to go back on the road next season. Good luck and enjoy the summer.

RE: Just Venting!

Choose your own style of camping and do it but don't beat up on the people who have a different style. We out grew the tent years ago.

RE: Can I replace the "drum" on my awning?

Your better having the insurance replace the whole thing. The fabric is probably stretched now anyway.

RE: Leveling the nose

Half bubble off I wouldn't even fool around with it. Most times it'll settle.

RE: Is antenna booster really needed for DTV on batwing antenna?

I not only need the boost for the tv but I can't pick up radio stations without it.

RE: Titanium 5th Wheels

For fulltiming I think you can use any quality rv. I say quality because living in it day after day does put more pressure on the unit. Just because it says you can't fulltime who has to no you are if you need repairs. I wouldn't let them no that. Others Carriage, Deluxes Suites, Excel, Hitchhicker and there others I just can't think of right now. Do a search on fulltime 5ers there's plenty of info.

RE: Central NJ to Hershey PA

Your proposed route is the most direct but be warned 78 is a washboard both directions.

RE: winterizing a 5th

In 30 years I've never lifted the RV or the tires off the ground for winter storage. You can put the stablizers down but I never had to do that either. In fact I leave it a litle nose high so rain and snow run to the back of the uit. I do put wheel covers on though since it's in a field for the winter.

RE: Waste transfer bags???

I have the bags their called the Covered Bucket and you can hook 2 bags together and dump about 10 gal. of grey water. I'v never seen them used for black water and I'm not sure I'd want to. Buckets.
